America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence this 4th of July! What better way to celebrate red, white, and blue than with sweet strawberries, juicy blueberries, and making fresh summer memories?
We have gathered together a list of the best CNY u-pick farms so you can get the freshest possible berries for your 4th of July celebrations or just to snack on all summer long!
Picking for strawberries starts mid-June through early July with peak picking the last 2 weeks of June. Picking for blueberries starts in early July through August with peak picking in mid-July.
Special note from the farms: Plants are still recovering from a cold spring. Many farms have flowering plants but make sure to call ahead or check their Facebook page for updates on picking before driving out.
