Calling all young artists!

315Mom and the Everson Museum of Art are teaming up to celebrate creativity in Central New York. Show us your imagination and artistic skills for a chance to have your artwork published on 315MOM.com and put on display in the Everson Museum of Art! 

Entry Guidelines

• Paper Size: All artwork must be created on 8.5” x 11” paper.

• Mediums: Artwork must be 2D only. Accepted materials include:

  • Marker, crayon, colored pencil, pencil, pastel, acrylic paint, watercolor, or charcoal.

• No 3D materials (no collage, glitter, glued objects, fabric, or mixed media that adds texture or dimension).

• Each entry must be the artist’s own original work. No Ai.
  

Age Categories

Entries will be judged in three age group categories:

• Category 1: Ages 4-8

• Category 2: Ages 9-13

• Category 3: Ages 14-18
  

Prizes & Recognition

• One winning artwork will be selected per age group category.

• Winners will be chosen by the Everson Museum of Art team.

• Winning pieces will be featured 315MOM.com and soical media and put on display at Everson Museum of Art according to the timelines listed below.
  
  

Additional Rules

• Only one entry per student, per contest. If you are a previous winner, please refrain from entering until the following year.

• By entering, artists and their parents/guardians grant permission for 315Mom and the Everson Museum of Art to reproduce or display the artwork for promotional purposes.

• If artwork is selected, the winner must drop off artwork to the Everson Museum of Art for display within the indicated timeframe. 

• The judges’ decisions are final.
